The kiss wasn't a knockout, but Sonny Bill William's girlfriend Jaime Ridge was front row and centre in a bright pink dress last night.

Ridge, 18, the daughter of former league star Matthew Ridge, was seated with her mum, the designer Sally, ringside.

She shared an awkward celebratory kiss with Williams following his win, the rugby giant bending over for a peck with his championship belt in his hand.

Williams, 26, has been seeing the Aucklander for about a month and they have been spotted out together. They have reportedly spent time together in Auckland and in Hamilton where Williams plays Super rugby for the Chiefs.

"They are a very well-matched couple," a source said late last month.

Not only are they both gorgeous but they are both very family focused and used to living life under the media spotlight - their values are the same."

Ridge is studying law and commerce at Auckland University.

She is a regular in the social pages with mum Sally, and recently featured in a Metro magazine photo shoot of Auckland celebrities.

She has done some modelling work, including at last year's Fashion Week where she modelled a lingerie creation designed by her mother.

Williams was last romantically linked with 21-year-old Cantabrian Aleisha Berryman.

Should Oscar Pistorius be allowed to compete again?

Absolutely. Running is his job.

Only if he receives a suspended sentence.

No way. His days as a runner are over.
