Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins has backed the US Anti-Doping Agency's case against Lance Armstrong, saying it's not a "one-sided hatchet job."

Wiggins says he is "shocked at the scale of the evidence" against Armstrong, who has been stripped of his seven Tour titles after being exposed as a cheat who used performance-enhancing drugs.

Wiggins says USADA's report is "pretty damning."

Armstrong chose not to fight the USADA charges but insists he has never cheated.

Speaking to British TV station Sky News, Wiggins says it is "jaw-dropping" that 26 people, including 11 former teammates, testified against Armstrong.

Wiggins says riders are now "picking these pieces up" and trying to protect the sport's integrity, adding: "What we are doing today is setting the example for our sport."
