They might be in close proximity but Sonny Bill Williams won't be able to watch the Chiefs go through their paces against Queensland - and his old teammates won't catch his heavyweight bout with Francois Botha due to a scheduling clash.

Williams fights the South African veteran in Brisbane on February 8, the same night the Chiefs have a Super Rugby trial with the Reds on the Sunshine Coast.

The Reds confirmed the date and venue of their final pre-season hit out today, it will be the second time they host New Zealand opposition at Stockland Stadium after the Hurricanes played an exhibition match there during this year's June international window.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs will not face Tokoroa-born Wallabies five-eighth Quade Cooper - he makes his boxing debut on the Williams undercard before refocusing on rugby.

Will Shane Cameron beat Kali Meehan on Saturday?

For sure. Cameron will knock him out.

It will be close but I think Cameron on points.

Meehan will knock him out. This is his last fight.

I'm tipping Meehan to win on points.
