Softball New Zealand has confirmed a three match test series between the New Zealand Black Sox and Australian Steelers on March 28 to 30 at Auckland's Rosedale Park, Albany.

The Black Sox won the 2013 world championships title at Rosedale Park last March.

A SNZ spokesman said the test series against Australia, the 2009 world champions, was "an exciting opportunity for the world's best to go back to the battlefield where they last left off''.

Sky Sport will broadcast the series live.
