Top athletes from all over the country and from a variety of sporting codes will be converging on Auckland's Vector Arena for the 2013 Halberg Awards.

Reporters Simon Plumb and David Long will be in attendance to bring you live updates from the ceremony.

Teen golfing sensation Lydia Ko will look to break the stranglehold of Olympic champion shot-putter Valerie Adams to become New Zealand's sportswoman of the year.

The undefeated All Blacks, meanwhile, will look to take home the Team of the Year Award while the three-peat New Zealand Breakers and the Super Rugby-winning Chiefs will also fancy their chances of winning.

Will Shane Cameron beat Kali Meehan on Saturday?

For sure. Cameron will knock him out.

It will be close but I think Cameron on points.

Meehan will knock him out. This is his last fight.

I'm tipping Meehan to win on points.
