TAB bookies are picking nine-time Group I winner Mufhasa as the horse to beat in the Group I $100,000 Windsor Park Plate (w-f-a 1600m) at Hastings on Saturday.
Mufhasa finished second in the corresponding race last year, to Jimmy Choux, and has drawn barrier 10 in the capacity field of 14.
TAB bookmakers yesterday installed him as a $4 favourite on their final field fixed-odds market, in from $5 on their futures market.
Xanadu is the $4.50 second favourite ahead of Guiseppina at $6.50, He's Remarkable at $8.50 and Green Supreme at $10.
New Plymouth galloper Shez Sinsational at $14 will be having her first outing beyond a sprint distance in her latest campaign and has drawn the extreme outside at the awkward 1600m barrier at Hastings.
Makfi Stakes runner-up Xanadu drew favourably in barrier four in a capacity 14-horse field, while Guiseppina starts from nine and Green Supreme from gate 13. Makfi third-placed Justanexcuse drew one, with He's Remarkable in two and Fleur de Lune at three.
