Nick Cummins' first test try was also one of the most important for Australian rugby in a while but for the lion-hearted wing, he was just happy to "get some meat".
Cummins produced a rock solid performance on the right wing in just his fourth test as Australia held out England 20-14 in front of more than 81,000 fans at Twickenham.
In the 35th minute, Cummins steamed on to a pass from halfback Nick Phipps 20 metres from England's line and the Western Force wing, known as the Honey Badger, did the rest.
He rocketed past lock Tom Palmer then crashed over centre Brad Barritt to score Australia's only try of the match. It was Australia's first try in three tests and Cummins' first in his fourth outing for the Wallabies.
"It was great to get a bit of meat," said Cummins, hitting English journalists with some Aussie rhyming slang - meat pie (try).
"Credit to Phippo who gave me a good ball."
In Edinburgh, South Africa outmuscled Scotland to win 21-10. The Springboks did all the necessary work within the first 50 minutes, mincing Scotland to lead 21-3 after 47 minutes. Hooker Adriaan Strauss scored both the Springboks' tries.
In Lille, France backed up their mauling of the Wallabies with a 39-22 win over Argentina. The French scored three tries to one including a double by Vincent Clerc, who moved to 34, passing Philippe Saint-Andre's total of 32.
