Toby Robson's All Blacks player ratings from the Bledisloe Cup test in Sydney.

Israel Dagg 7.5 Counter attacked well and effortlessly beat opposite Kurtley Beale on the outside for his try and nice quick hands for Jane's try. A messy netball pass to Gear wasn't ideal.

Cory Jane 6.5 A dropped pass should have been taken, but otherwise solid. Did brilliantly to haul in a high Dagg pass at pace then beat Beale for his try.

Ma'a Nonu 6.5 Didn't seem to get the ball in his hands enough after an early line break, but did a fine job on defence in his first test at centre since 2009.

Sonny Bill Williams 6.5 A couple of errant passes, but strong in defence and took the ball up strongly.

Hosea Gear 6 Could have been more involved but was effective as a decoy on two occasions and largely error free.

Dan Carter 7.5 Strong defensive game, good read to go pass outside to Dagg for the first try and kicked six of seven from the kicking tee.

Aaron Smith 6 Some sloppy ball from breakdown and lineout made his job difficult. A 30 metre bullet pass and a try saving cover tackle on Digby Ioane stood out.

Kieran Read 7.5 Thumping defence and strong carries. One fumble after he'd burst through the line, but not bad for a guy coming back from injury.

Richie McCaw 7.5 Particularly strong with ball in hand, a nuisance at the ruck and strong defensively including putting plenty of pressure on Berrick Barnes.

Liam Messam 6 Aggressive defence and energetic in attack, but dragged into touch twice when he tried to go too far with ball in hand.

Luke Romano 6.5 A couple of big runs with ball in hand and solid in the set piece during his 52 minutes.

Sam Whitelock 6 Strong in the lineout, but missed a tackle on Ioane that led to Nathan Sharpe's try.

Owen Franks 6 Mixed some strong scrums with a few penalties at the set piece. Defended well.

Keven Mealamu 6.5 Typically robust. Gained a couple of turnovers and threw well to the lineout.

Tony Woodcock 6.5 Good around the park and appeared to have the edge on his opposite at scrum time.

Brodie Retallick 6 Added some impact in the tight and tackled strongly.

Used but not rated: Piri Weepu, Ben Franks, Andrew Hore

How do you feel about the AIG logo on the All Blacks jersey?

Blasphemy. Don't like it at all

Begrudgingly accepting it

It's a commercial reality of sport

Don't have an issue with it
