French rugby/football treat in South Africa

French sports fans attending the soccer World Cup in South Africa in June will be in for an extra treat as they can also watch their rugby team play a test against the Springboks.
The rugby match will take place at Newlands in Cape Town on June 12, the day after France take on Uruguay in the same city in their opening game of the soccer tournament, the South African Rugby Union (SARU) said on Tuesday.
There had been speculation the rugby match would have to be moved because during the June 11-July 11 World Cup other major sports events are not permitted to be held in host cities. The decision to keep the test at Newlands was made after discussions between SARU and World Cup organisers.
