Argentina have boosted their back row stocks for next week's clash with the All Blacks by including fit-again flanker Alvaro Galindo.

The 30-year-old was involved in the home and away series against South Africa but was injured in the draw against the Springboks in Mendoza.

Argentina coach Santiago Phelan had no hesitation in recalling the Racing Metro openside flanker to his mix to help counter one of the All Blacks' real areas of strength.

Phelan named a squad of 27, jettisoning utility back Rafael Carballo and prop Maximiliano Bustos. Neither featured in the away losses to the All Blacks and Wallabies over the past fortnight and now return to club rugby in France.

The Pumas are looking to register their first win in the Rugby Championship. They host the All Blacks in La Plata next Sunday (NZ time) and Australia in Rosario a week later.

Argentina squad: Horacio Agulla, Patricio Albacete, Marcos Iván Ayerza, Marcelo Bosch, Martín Bustos Moyano, Gonzalo Oscar Camacho, Manuel Carizza, Agustín Creevy, Julio Farias Cabello, Juan Martín Fernández Lobbe, Santiago Fernández, Juan Figallo, Álvaro Galindo, Lucas González Amorosino, Eusebio Guiñazú, Juan Martín Hernández, Juan José Imhoff, Martín Landajo, Juan Manuel Leguizamón, Tomás Leonardi, Juan Pablo Orlandi, Martín Rodríguez, Rodrigo Roncero, Federico Nicolás Sánchez, Leonardo Vicente Senatore, Tomás Vallejos, Nicolás Vergallo.
