The Queensland Reds have named an unchanged team to play NSW in Saturday night's Super Rugby grudge match at ANZ Stadium.

Coach Richard Graham has rewarded the 23-man squad that overcame the Brumbies 27-17 in their opening encounter in Canberra.

"We needed to start the season strongly," Graham said.

"We have a number of away games to begin our campaign and, as a group, we understand the significance of beginning with a win.

"I thought it was important for us to recognise their efforts and give the same 23 another opportunity against the Waratahs."

"(NSW coach) Michael Cheika wants to base a large part of their game play on a physical and abrasive style. However, we expect them to try to challenge us and throw the ball around as well."

QUEENSLAND REDS:
Aidan Toua, Lachie Turner, Ben Tapuai, Mike Harris, Dom Shipperley, Quade Cooper, Will Genia, Jake Schatz, Liam Gill, Ed Quirk, James Horwill, Rob Simmons, Greg Holmes, Saia Fainga'a, James Slipper. Reserves: James Hanson, Ben Daley, Jono Owen, Ed ODonoghue, Beau Robinson, Nick Frisby, Anthony Faingaa, Chris Feauai-Sautia
