New Zealand's Artem Sitak has won his maiden ATP doubles title, winning the event in Stuttgart, Germany.

Sitak and his Polish partner Mateusz Kowalczyk defeated Philipp Oswald from Poland and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez in a thrilling final that went to a super tiebreak, winning 2-6 6-1 10-7.

The 28-year-old Sitak has a doubles ranking of 134, but could get close to the top 100 with this victory and like Michael Venus would be close to making it into the doubles draw at next month's US Open.

Meanwhile, in the ITF Futures grass court tournament in Ilkley, England, Marcus Daniell beat local hope Lewis Burton 6-2 7-5 in the final.
