New Zealand skiier Adam Hall has finished seventh in the standing super G race at the Vancouver Winter Paralympic Games.

Hall, of Otago, completed the run in a time of one minute 23.34 seconds today, more than 3sec behind the winner, German Gerd Schonfelder.

Hall won a gold medal in the standing slalom earlier this week.

"He doesn't have a huge ranking in super G, but it was a reasonable result and sets him up well for the super combined tomorrow," New Zealand chef de mission Jon Turnbull said.

The super combined consists of one run of Super G and one of slalom.
