Just a half-hour drive from New Plymouth we happened upon this amazing landscape.

Though cute, the Cape Egmont Lighthouse we'd come for wasn't the star attraction.

The landscape was rugged and felt like it was a million years old.

With the windswept trees and crazy-blue sky and the green-as Kiwi farmland all around, it's an amazing bit of coastline.

It's well worth a visit with the camera.
