It's a jewel in Australia's crown, a world heritage landform that hosts a renowned ecosystem. And with sea temperatures that range from tropical to sublime, it's an all-season attraction for travellers.

The reef contains an abundance of marine life and comprises of over 3000 individual reef systems and coral cays and literally hundreds of picturesque tropical islands with some of the world's most beautiful sun-soaked, golden beaches.

But where's the best bit? Have you visited the reef from Rockhampton or Mackay or Port Douglas? Or is it best from an island like Dunk, Fitzroy or Lizard?

And did you dive or snorkel? Or sail?

Tell us your story about the best way to enjoy the Reef, and send us your best photo too.
