We went on a 4x4 tour of the southern tip of Bolivia, where the altitude averages 4500 metres and all you have are mountains, rocks and lakes.

It's totally desolate but the scenery is superb.

We finished the four-day trip with the Salar de Uyuni, the world's largest salt flat at 10,582 sq km.

We arrived just in time for sunrise. The high altitude combined with the very pure air let us witness the most beautiful colours.

My most amazing place is an ongoing Stuff Nation assignment. To contribute hit the green button.
