Castle recently finished on our screens but it has some great strengths.

Not only is it a mostly ''thinking'' show but the onscreen tension between Kate Beckett and Richard Castle is a show within itself.

As they go about figuring out who the murderer is and why the victim was dispatched, there are a lot of off-beat remarks between the pair driving up sexual tension - do they want each other? Are they over each other? How long can this keep going for?

Moreover, unlike most shows, it's not always obvious who the killer is and the twists and turns keep me hooked.

In the end it's just a TV programme and lives don't really change, but after a long day at work it's a great way to relax.
