I am writing this on behalf of my 16-year-old daughter Kim.

Kim and Jordyn have been friends since they were around four-years-old and have stuck to each other over the years right from kindergarten to intermediate school. They were also both in the choir at primary school together. I nicknamed them 'the old married couple', as they were always together.

Unfortunately Jordyn and Kim went on to different colleges but over the years, they have still seen each other.

Over the past year Kim has been up and down with her emotions due to events happening in our household.

Just around a month or two ago Jordyn touched base again and he introduced her to a good friend of his as he already had a girlfriend. Sadly Kim's friendship with this other boy was very short-lived but Jordyn was there for her to help heal her broken heart.

I feel they would be a great couple when they get older, as I say Jordyn as been there for Kim. His mother and I are also friends but as I have moved away from the immediate area I don't see her that often any more but I do talk to Jordyn on Facebook sometimes.

Jordyn is the kind of teenager that would do anything for his bestie.
