My recent trip had so many highlights: Paris's Eiffel tower; Antoni Gaudi's church in Barcelona, Dubai' Burj Khalifa, Amsterdam's coffee shops, Germany's Porta Negra, the tunnels in Vermont France, Guinness with friends in Dublin, Thailand's Koh Tao, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui, riding elephants in Chang Mai or camels in the Sahara desert in Morocco (see gallery left for photos).

I enjoyed every minute of each day.

Cambodia was a life changer. Sure, Angkor Wat and the Byan temple were wonderful, but the people are what touched me most.

They had warmth, heart and they smiled.
