Yota the tuxedo cat is no driving dog but she was rescued from a farm. After being skittish and untouchable for many years she is now a solid testament to how any animal, with enough care and attention, can become a great pet.

About three years ago Yota learnt that tap water tends to be cool and fresh and has since refused to drink from any bowl.

She will sit by the sink each day, at regular times of the morning and evening, waiting for someone to turn the tap on. She never meows for attention and is very patient, sometimes sitting there for long periods of time just waiting to be noticed.

She is particular about which tap she will drink from - the kitchen sink is her absolute favourite.

I hope you enjoy the video :)
