I have to admit I wasn't much of a hardout fan of Six60 until my cousin got me tickets to their live gig for Christmas.

It was by far one of the best gigs I have been to and I have been to a few in my time. I went out and bought the album and it plays every morning, on my way to work and even when I'm at work.

Why? The sound itself speaks for itself, the sincerity in his vocals and just the rhythm in the music, mind blowing.

Others should get into it simply because it is New Zealand music.

Props to the Kiwi artists out there doing their thing: Iva Lamkum, Aaradhna, Ladi6, 1814, Tomorrow People, Six60 and plenty more. I've had the privilege of being able to watch these bands in action and they are amazing.

I can't live without music.
