Top five reader comments of the day Is Auckland's franchise singing the Blues? Firstly, I would just tell my parents, buy them a house and a car - nothing to flash either, just something they need, something practical.

I'd buy my brother a house and maybe get him and his girlfriend a round-the-world ticket because he likes to travel.

Buy me a house, then go back and live with my parents and rent mine out HAHAHA! I'm joking about that one.

Get an investment property. Take a million out and leave the rest.

I'm not very materialistic. I love shoes, music and animals - so those aren't really expensive. Well shoes can be, but I would just want a room full of Chuck Taylors then I'd be set. And maybe Shell Toes.

I'd pay my car off and give my parents a million between the both of them, and my brother some cash.

For my cousins that I am close to, I would give them a little something as well, but something that is going to benefit them. For example if my cousin wanted to go to uni and couldn't afford it, I'd pay for it so she dosen't have to get a student loan.

I'd donate some to the SPCA. I was thinking I would get a farm so I ccould have heaps of animals, but I dont think I would cope. I would get way to attached to them all - I don't want to become a "rich cat lady"!

I'd also go for a holiday then come back to reality.

So, not much really!
