Leave Zac Guildford alone
Can someone explain to me how an All Black getting on the booze can make national headline news?
I did not care about Zac Guildford running in to a pub in Rarotonga naked, nor did I care about Guildford being spotted at the Ellerslie races with an alcoholic drink in his hands.
In fact, I do not care at all about Guildford and what he does in his spare time. So, why is the media sensationalising him and his drinking to be a bigger deal than it actually is?
There are way too many issues to care about. Like, for example, 81 people dead in a hostage situation in Algeria. Or if disgracing sportsmen is your thing, how about picking on a former seven-time Tour de France winner who was the mastermind behind sport's most elaborate doping conspiracy?
If you want to report on more All Blacks getting drunk, go and visit the Viaduct on a Saturday night. Plenty to see there. Other All Blacks seem to go unreported, but everything Guildford does is under heavy scrutiny.
Leave Zac alone.
