Lead by example! This is my family's motto for healthy eating. Parents have to change their way of eating in order for their children to follow suit. Get involved with your kids, exercising, cooking, and encouraging them to be active and healthy.

We have adjusted our whole look on life and healthy eating in the past six months and have seen vast improvements in our kids. From turning their faces up to veggies like spinach to making sure it's in the shopping trolley every shopping day. They live on the stuff.

We made a deal with our kids, we ditch the booze and they ditch the fizzy drink, and hey presto it worked! Life is slowly improving for us and I hope more and more whanau are able to follow suit and lead by example.
