A thing of beauty? No, but then with a budget of $0 I don't think we have done too badly. 

We improved storage in the pokey kitchen, I painted over the nasty red trim in the bathroom and painted the feature walls in bus yellow and blue. 

The biggest change was taming the weed-infested mess outside in to food gardens. That took a lot of work and I am quite pleased with the results.

There remain things I'd love to be able to do, but budget prevents it.
