Help get NZ cooking: Strawberry & spinach salad
I got this recipe from a friend in Wisconsin. She served it up on a snowy winter's day and even then it was a nice meal. It's a very easy and very tasty salad,enough for an entree on its own.
NEED TO KNOW
|Type of dish||Salad|
|Cooking time||<30 min|
|Serves/makes||4 - 6|
|Special options||Dairy & Gluten-free|
It is also great served with baked salmon and plain boiled small potatoes.
The sesame seeds and poppy seeds are optional, but are very nice in the salad and will add a wee "crunch". You can also toast them if you wish
