I met a guy named George at a party I attended with friends and we hit it off pretty much straight away.

After the party my friend rang and said her stepbrother really liked me and asked if she could give him my phone number. I asked if it was George, but she said no, the guy's name was Hayden and there was no-one called George at her party.

I was pretty disgusted that he had given me a false name and I thought he would be an idiot. When he did ring and ask me out, I thought I might as well go and get a free feed out of it.

I dressed very casual for the date, even wearing my running tights and running jacket with my hair in a ponytail so I could go for a run, as I expected the date was going to be a short one.

That was 13 years ago. We have been together ever since then and have been married for six years. He still teases me about my lack of dress sense and how inappropriately I dressed for a beautiful meal out.
