My colleagues were up in Grafton, New South Wales  and after dinner felt like getting on the slops at a local nightclub.

Apparently, the only nightclub open had a dress code and no jandals were allowed.

The wolfpack were in a bit of a quandary as one of them was wearing his go backs (because you have to go back to the beach to get them).

Initially the female bouncer wasn't helpful but the boys laid on some charm and she suggested turning the jandals in to a sandal with some cable ties she just happened to have.

Sure enough she was happy with the improvised engineering and I have attached a photo of potentially a new trend in summer safety shoes - behold the JanSan!
