ASSIGNMENT:

Youth voters, what do you want?

Would more youths vote if there were an option to vote online?
STUFF

Would more youths vote if there were an option to vote online?

Three out of five young Kiwis didn't vote in the most recent election.

Youths, what will it take to get you to turn up and vote in larger numbers? Would you prefer to vote online? Do you need better representation?

And of those of you that do vote, the trend tends to be to vote for left-wing parties and policies

Are you left-wing, right-wing, or somewhere in the middle?

What are the issues you really care about?

Is there a particular MP you'd be more likely to vote for? Are you inspired by young politicians like Chloe Swarbrick, the 22-year-old Green Party candidate? Or do you put your trust in more experienced politicians?

We want to hear your reasons for voting, or not voting. Let us know which issues you think politicians should be addressing, and which parties align with your views.
