How is NZ's treatment of animals?
Animals rights or animal welfare - which do you think should be New Zealand's concern?
Animal rights means animals are not ours to use, while animal welfare allows animals to be used for food, clothing, entertainment and experimentation as long as humane guidelines are followed.
How do you feel about the dairy industry, treatment of bobby calves, intensive animal farming, product testing on animals, ivory, hunting, rodeos, circuses, consumption of animal products, the fur trade, fishing, horse racing, 1080, zoos..?
Are you a livestock farmer or a staunch carnivore? Or are you an animal-loving vegetarian or vegan? Let us know what you think is acceptable and what, if anything, isn't.
