Rugby's money men have spoken and either Japan or Singapore will be getting a Super Rugby franchise when the competition is expanded to 18 teams in 2016.

Will Sanzar bosses opt for rugby-mad Japan or the more travel-friendly location of Singapore where Tana Umaga has been linked as a potential coach of the franchise?

Or, more to the point, should either country even get a Super Rugby team?

What do you think of the plans to expand the competition beyond 15 teams? Is it the right move? Or should Sanzar be reducing the number of franchises instead?

Does South Africa even deserve another team?

And what about the poor old Pacific Islands? Surely Samoa, Fiji or Tonga would be a better place for a Super Rugby team than a location in Asia?
