All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has made his selections for the upcoming Rugby Championship.

Dan Carter, Charles Piutau, Sam Cane and Steven Luatua are back. But Colin Slade, Matt Todd and Ryan Crotty - all members of an impressive Crusaders outfit that will contest the Super Rugby final - were not so lucky and have been dropped.

What do you make of the big selection calls? Should Cane - a player who has been injured since May - have got the nod ahead of the hard-working Todd?

Do you agree that Carter should be straight back in the mix after a lengthy sabbatical or should New Zealand's favourite son have had to work harder to win back his black jersey?

Have Hansen and his two fellow selectors, Ian Foster and Grant Fox, made any glaring mistakes?

This is your chance to play selector. Click on the green button below to tell us what you think.
