Do we discriminate against mental illness?
We want to open up discussion about mental illness in New Zealand.
Sarah Gordon, who has been living with serious mental illness since she was 17, says the biggest barrier to recovery is discrimination.
"If we treated any other group experiencing an equivalent type of distress and vulnerability [in this way] we'd be horrified," Gordon said.
