We want to know what you think of New Zealand's relationship with the royal family.

There's no doubt that the royals still caputure the public's imagination; Kiwis turned out in droves when Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, toured our shores and royal baby fever has been a world-wide epidemic.

But how relevant are the royals to New Zealand? Should we continue to pay homage or do we start thinking about when to call it a day?

If we do, what becomes of the governor general's role?
