The Wellington Sevens has become more about the fashion off the field than the rugby action on it, and we want to see how creative you're getting this year.

The Sevens has seen some stellar costumes over the years.  Last year the supreme costume award went to the epic Lego Men of Palmerston North.

We asked Museum Art Hotel owner Chris Parkin, who sponsors the Sevens costume competition, what the judges looked for and it turns out creativity and craftmanship, rather than the percentage of flesh showing, were the big factors in choosing a winner.

This year the stakes are already high with at least one full Iron Man suit having been constructed and many other punters feverishly putting the final touches on their masterpieces.
