Can my boyfriend/girlfriend stay over?

It's a squirm-inducing question that many parents dread facing - but should it be?

An article from Daily Life exploring whether teenagers should be allowed to have sleepovers found a range of parenting responses, from those who were grateful their teen's first sexual experience was at home in a safe environment, to: "If I still have to tell them to clean their rooms and I'm still supporting them, they're too young to be having sex under my roof. No one's having sex in my house except me."

We want to to hear from you.

Do you or would you let your teenager's girlfriend or boyfriend stay over? Why or why not? Is it something you've already had to tackle as a family or something you dread as it quickly approaches?

Help other parents with their decisions by sharing your experiences - the good, the bad, the cringeworthy.
