Becoming a parent can be one of life's hardest transitions and hindsight is a beautiful (and frustrating) thing.

Many frazzled new mums and dads find themselves asking, "why didn't anyone warn me about this before the baby came along ...?".

This is your chance to tell new parents the ten things you wish someone had said to you.

Maybe you've got a trick for discreetly breast feeding in public, a no-fail teething remedy or a sure way to diffuse a supermarket tantrum in less than 30 seconds.

Share your top 10 tips so that parents-to-be out there can head into the sleep-deprived fog of nappies and breast pumps forewarned, and, perhaps, forearmed.
