Kiwi mums, was breast best for you? Have you received an act of kindness? Have you had a near-death experience? What's your favourite book of all time? Is it time to vote off reality TV? How have your tattoos affected you? Show us the weather at your place More dead on our roads: What can we do? How can the US solve its gun problem? Keeping Kiwis safe in water

Each year there are about 375,000 recorded crimes commited in New Zealand.

While we mainly hear about the perpetrators, the story of the victims is rarely heard.

The crimes often have a big impact on people's lives, but telling those stories can help with the healing and also provide a warning to others.

We'd like to hear your stories of how a crime affected your life. Did it change how you lived, or how you see other people?

Tell us your story by hitting the green contribute button.

We will not be able to run any stories about crimes that are still before the courts.
