As cities across New Zealand debate smoking bans in public places, we want to hear your opinion on smoke-free policies.

Almost all public spaces in Auckland will become no-go zones for smokers after the Auckland Council signed off a policy to get the city smoke-free by 2025. Wellington city has a ban on smoking in parks, while Palmerston North this year introduced 'clean-air' zones.

Do you support proposals to ban smoking in public places or do you think they're a bit too nanny state?

Are our smoke-free plans for NZ on the right track or are we focusing on the wrong things?

Give us your views and proposals for tackling smoking among Kiwis by clicking the big green contribute button below.
