We want to celebrate New Zealand's most inspiring teachers.

Tell us about a teacher who has made a big impact on your life. Maybe it was that math teacher who taught you the value of money, or that English teacher who encouraged your passion for writing.

Or maybe it's just someone who made you think that going to school wasn't all that bad.

An online competition recently attracted more than 2800 entries of 'inspiring teachers', with more than 11,000 votes cast, so we want to hear the stories behind what makes them great at what they do.

We want to know the effect a teacher or teachers have had on your life.
