Illegal drug use in our communities can have a devastating impact on families, friends, groups and workplaces.

This year, and for the first time in New Zealand, Fairfax Media is partnering with the Global Drug Survey to help create the largest and most up-to-date snapshot of our drug and alcohol use, and to see how we compare to the rest of the world.

We want to know about how your life or the lives of those around you have been affected by drug use.

What do you think should be done to prevent issues arising? Is there enough support out there for people to gain the help they need?
