Are you a woman doing a 'man's' job? Should your kids be on Facebook? Photos: land of the long white winter Your moment of pure ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Best guitar riff of all time: your picks How do you let a loved pet go? Why is your town the best in NZ? Is Super Rugby expansion a super idea? Your great cake creations Holiday memories made in ink

Have you ever been touched by the kindness of a stranger or good samaritan?

It's time to share the story.

We want to highlight the selfless acts that take place in our communities every day, but that don't often get credit.

The welcome help in a crisis, the favour in a time of need, the unexpected gift from someone who could tell you were having a tough time.

Stories of good blokes like John Beattie who helped Christchurch woman Nellie Hunt after she spent two nights in a tent in Waltham Park with her three children.

Or these three stories shared by Hamilton Area Commander, Inspector Greg Nicholls, of wallets being returned to owners with hundreds of dollars in them.

Help us celebrate the good in our communities by telling the story of when a random act of kindness surprised you.
