Mike Hesson has had a tumultous 18 months as coach of the Black Caps.

From the lows of the captaincy change debacle - for which he was heavily criticised - to the highs of the recent ODI series win over world champions India, it has been a rocky road for the man from Otago.

Has Hesson proven the critics wrong?

How much credit can he take for the performances of the team in recent months?
