The battle of the bulge in New Zealand is showing no signs of slimming down, so what do you think needs to be done to help Kiwis fight fat?

New research suggests banning junk food advertising may be the best way to tackle childhood obesity, but how effective do you think that would be?  

In 2014, health advocates said drastic intervention was needed to stave off a diabetes crisis in New Zealand. Meanwhile, research showed a tax on sugary drinks could save lives and reduce our obesity burden. 

Should we be paying more attention to these warnings? 

Would you like to see taxes on fizzy drinks and companies who sell or produce fatty foods? Or does the issue come down to education and healthy eating at homes and schools?
