Inspired by Blogger Megan Mennes' letter to the internet troll who called her son with Down Syndrome "ugly", we want to hear the experiences of Kiwis with disabilities.

If you know someone in New Zealand with a disability, or if you have one yourself, help celebrate diversity and increase awareness of the issues affecting many in our communities, by sharing your experiences.

Do New Zealanders accept diversity or do those with differences face an uphill battle?

What are the biggest stereotypes and prejudices that those with disabilities face and how are they being overcome?

Are the services and support available to Kiwis with disabilities enough?
