All Blacks need several changes made All Blacks brushing off the first test rust We wrote England off at our peril Four questions re the All Blacks' first test All Blacks scary? Tee hee hee Poor selection hinders All Blacks

After the All Blacks' near-miss test win against England of the weekend, we asked Stuff Nation readers to tell us their thoughts on where we need to improve. Geoff Cole has four major concerns:

It was not a convincing display by the All Blacks. They looked under-done, nervous and a bit rusty.

1. The All Blacks missed speed to the break down and a genuinely fast No 7 is required. Richie McCaw ain't that player but his captaincy is needed. It's a bit of a dilemma.

2. There was quite a bit of aimless kicking and the taking of the high ball was pretty slack at times.

3. Referees have different interpretations of the off side rules. The All Black's didn't adapt too well, hence some of the aimless kicking.

4. Our scrum had it all over the Poms and it is time referees gave the dominant side the benefit of that supremacy.

They will be a better side next time out and could quite easily put 20-plus points on the Poms.
