Only the will to want to change can get you moving, but it doesn't hurt to be pushed a bit.

Every year I tell myself I'll lose weight, I'll be fitter and I will be active. But as the year passes by I always find excuses not to; I'm too tired, I'm busy, I work fulltime, I'm a busy mum, who was I trying to kid around?

Then one day something in me snapped. I woke up one morning with the urge to go to the gym at 6am, so I did.

Why? I couldn't tell you.

Looking back now it was the best decision I could have made. Four months on I feel healthier, I look better and I can get more involved in day-to-day activites with my family and friends.

I guess you can say the extra push came from within. No one else, not my partner, not friends, not family.

The will to want to change is the biggest motivation that I have found and I wouldn't change it for anything.

Losing over 10 kilograms and keeping my curvey hips, legs and stomach I'm finding I'm enjoying everything more in life and have a positive outlook.

Finding your inner strength is the biggest motivation anyone can find.
