My shed is now more of a rumpus room, however it remains a shed at heart.

My old man's sheds were filled with hot rods, vintage cars and mechanical bits and pieces.

My grandfather's shed was on the cover of the Blokes and Sheds book and is well known across New Zealand.

My shed is a stark contrast to theirs. It's carpeted and insulated for noise control with massive ranch sliders replacing the original two-roller doors.

There are posters and fliers all over the walls and ceiling, a mirrorball, a laser and other lighting effects.

Of course there are couches, a 42" plasma TV, Xbox360, dartboard and fridge, however most important is the music set up; I have two Technics 1210's turntables, a Pioneer DJM 600 and a MacBook running Traktor Pro, with hundreds of vinyl records ready to go on a massive surround sound system.

Do you know someone with an impressive shed? Send us a photo or videos.
