Dobby is an adorable 8-year-old labradoodle with a kooky personality.

We adopted her before we had our first baby - so she was a bit like a trial child.

She stood out from her siblings in the litter because her hair wasn’t as curly, and we liked that she was different.

Dobs is a much-loved member of our family of five and enjoys being fully immersed in family life.

Every evening, when it's time for our boys to have bedtime stories, she settles at the end of our eldest son's bed to listen. She stays with him long after he falls asleep. Later she appears in the lounge for a snuggle on the couch and some quality time with mum and dad.

Dobby loves visiting the bridle track along the Manawatu river. She runs with gay abandon off the lead, indulging her senses as dogs are meant to.

She's a down-to-earth girl, but a little pampering never goes astray. A full wash down at the K-9000 dog wash is the perfect way to maintain Dobby’s gorgeous wavy locks.
