I am probably the only person who thinks the All Whites have a chance. Not only that, but I genuinely believe that they will go through to the World Cup next year in Brazil.

You're probably thinking I'm crazy.

I admit their tactics were appalling in the last game and Ricki Herbert got it wrong when they got thrashed in the first leg 5-1.

But instead of saying they will lose, I immediately said the All Whites would bounce back and win 4-0 because someone had to be positive about these situations.

And as I thought ,everyone started to back against them in the media.

Here is why I think they will win:

Mexico are confident and they will fall of the wagon.

The All Whites are playing in front of the biggest crowd New Zealand football has ever seen and everyone is against them.

It has happened before - people automatically thinking that a team will not win. Just look at a few examples when everyone is against their team: The Kiwis in 2008 winning the World Cup final, Liverpool's come from behind win in Istanbul to win the Champions League, France coming from behind to beat the All Blacks in 1999 in the semi finals and then again in 2007.

Or the All Whites in 1981 thrashing Saudi Arabia 5-0 to face China in a World Cup play-off.

It is possible, it is sport and it can do funny things.

So come on the All Whites, make us proud and go through to the next World Cup. Go back to back for the first time ever.
